Frequently Asked Questions

Both Saturday and Sunday events include use of the first floor of the house including a bathroom, the carriage house, and room for the bride and party to get ready, the ceremony site, use of the barn and onsite parking.  Tables and chairs for the barn and seating for the ceremony are provided.  We have two patio areas for cocktail hour/ games and a flower field behind one of our  ceremony sites.   We also provide the clean up for after your party. 

Our historic barn can accommodate 75-120 guests.

Saturday events include access to the property Friday 12pm-8pm for rehearsal and decorating. For the ceremony on Saturday you will have access to the house if you choose to get ready there and the barn from 10-10pm. The party must end by 10pm. 

Sunday events have access to the barn from 10am-10pm. 

New for 2025 we are offering overnight accommodations in our farmhouse! Please see the pricing page for more information. We also have local campgrounds and hotels within eleven -fifteen minutes of the property. 

Yes! Whether you hire an individual or have a beloved family member handle the many small details we do require a coordinator. The Watson Homestead offers day of coordinations. Please contact us for additional information. 

No, at this time we do not.

Yes. If you choose to have a bar you must hire a licensed and insured bartender.

Yes! You must obtain liability insurance for $1 million for each occurrence and $2 million for general aggregate and must include coverage for alcohol see above. 

2 deposits; the first due at time of booking with the balance due 120 days before ceremony. 

we have a 20 X 32 party tent available  to help navigate rainy weather  and keep your guest as dry as possible.
